- Myvatn Nature Baths (Jardbodin vid Myvatn): A wonderful geothermal lagoon in lava fields. Enjoy the bath or relax in the Kvika Restaurant (please note food, drink and entrance fee are not included in the price).
- Dimmuborgir Lava Formations: Lava fields and formations with lava pillars known as the Dark Castles
- Grjotagja Cave: Grjótagjá is a small lava cave located near lake Mývatn in north Iceland, famous for featuring a beautiful geothermal hot spring in its depths.
- Námaskarð is a slender geothermal pass between Námafjall and Dalfjall mountains in North East Iceland.
- Skutustaoagigar: Skútustaðagígar is the name of a row of pseudo-craters in North Iceland.
