- Highland Park: Highland Park, located in the heart of Baku and one of the favorite leisure places of the local residents, is regarded as one of the most beautiful parks of the capital city for a long time.İt is the highest Point of the city where you can see the best panoramic view of the Baku. Another commonly known name of the park among people is Viewing Square. In Soviet era, this park was named after Sergei Kirov. The one particular reason that makes the Highland Park unique is that it has a panorama looking over the city, Baku bay, Seaside National Park stretching along the bay. Back in 30s of XX century when the general layout of Baku was in progress, this very fact was assumed as a basis and it was taken into account that the Highland Park built in this area would play an important role in general architectural composition. The park was built in the place of the old graveyard based on the design of architect Ilyin using the rich variety of limestone of the quarries of Baku.
- Baku Boulevard: Baku Boulevard is a promenade established in 1909 which runs parallel to Baku's seafront. Its history goes back more than 100 years, to a time when Baku oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore and when the seafront was artificially built up inch by inch.
- Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum: It is displayed and explained a superb collection of Azerbaijani rugs, this 2014 museum building is itself designed like a stylised roll of carpet.
- Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center: Heydar Aliyev center - In 2007, Zaha Hadid was appointed as the design architect of the Center after a competition. The Center houses a conference hall (auditorium), a gallery hall and a museum. The project is intended to play an integral role in the intellectual life of the city. Located close to the city center, the site plays a pivotal role in the redevelopment of Baku.
