- National Museum Of Egyptian Civilization NEMC: The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization is a museum located in the city of Fustat, Cairo, on an area of 33.5 acres. The museum contains fifty thousand artifacts that tell the stages of development of Egyptian civilization
The museum site overlooks a natural lake, Ain Al-Sira Lake.
The hall contains mummies. The hall includes 20 royal mummies, including 18 kings and two queens from the Seventeenth to the Twentieth Dynasties. The most important of these mummies are the mummy of King Seqenenre, King Thutmose III, Queen Hatshepsut, and King Ramesses II.
The museum is distinguished by the presence of a grille inside the museum campus, which was discovered for the first time in 1932. The grille consists of three rows of double eyes, each of which has 13 eyes.
