Itinerary
- Pyramids of Giza: At any time from 7:00 am until 11:00 am or earlier Sun Pyramids Tours representative will pick you up from Cairo international airport, to enjoy an excursion to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus.
- Great Sphinx: Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren
The Great Sphinx of Giza is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the head of a human, and the body of a lion. Facing directly from west to east, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx appears to represent the pharaoh Khafre. - the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of chefren.
Valley Temple of Khafre Giza is attributed to King Khafre, one of the kings of the 4th Dynasty. - The Hanging Church: Then have your lunch at local restaurant and Move to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church.
The Hanging Church is named for its location above a gatehouse of Babylon Fortress, the Roman fortress in Coptic Cairo, The Hanging Church was probably built during the patriarchate of Isaac (690–692), - Church of St. Barbara: then visit Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, St. Barbara's Church stands north of the Coptic Museum and is east of the Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus (Abu Serga), on the eastern side of Fort Babylon. It was originally dedicated to Abu Kir and Yohanna (or Ss. Cyrus and John). When the remains of St. Barbara were brought here, a separate sanctuary was built.
- Church of St. Sergius and Bacchus: then visit to Church of Abu Serga, Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church is traditionally believed to have been built on the spot where the Holy Family, Joseph, Mary and the infant Jesus Christ, rested at the end of their journey into Egypt. They may have lived here while Joseph worked at the fortress.
- Khan Al-Khalili: . Continue driving to the area of Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar, Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques etc. Later you will be transferred back to Cairo international airport
