Itinerary
- Cairo: Start with our tour guide at 7: a.m. pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by A/C vehicle to Alexandria. from Cairo to Alex, around 220 km away. We will arrive at Alex around 9:30 AM, then start our day tour.
- Ancient Roman Amphitheater: Amphitheatre is an ancient Greek term that means an open-air area used for different kinds of performances. The Greek amphitheatres were usually structured in a circular or oval shape with many seated steps for the audience. It was actually more like an open-air stadium and was spread all over countries like Italy, Turkey, Jordan, and Greece when the Romans were dominating all of these regions. The amphitheater of Alexandria was discovered by coincidence in the year 1960.
- Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa: Then a visit to The Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa (tombs on three levels, also contains the Tri-cilium, where relatives used to sit on stone benches to feast the dead, a center with reliefs of bearded serpents, inside are 2nd century AD statues of Sobek and Anubis wearing Roman armor).
- Bibliotheca Alexandrina: From outside, we visit the Alexandria Library. The Library of Alexandria is considered the biggest library in the world.
- Citadel of Qaitbay: Then we go to see one of the most fantastic forts in the world. Alexandria is indeed one of the most important defensive strongholds. It is not only in Egypt. but also along the Mediterranean Sea coast. Moreover, it formulated an important part of the fortification system of Alexandria. It was in the 15th century A.C. . Qaitbey Fort Alexandria is situated at the entrance of the eastern harbor on the eastern point of Pharos Island. It was erected on the exact site of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria.
- Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi: El Mursi Abu Elabas: A Historic Legend Witness the charisma of iconic mystics from 13th-century Egypt with El Mursi Abu El-Abas-themed products. Ornamented with details and symbols reminiscent of the holy man is life.
