- Simonsig: Simonsig Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, is one of the oldest wine farms in South Africa. It is very popular for Method Cap Classique. South African sparkling wines are made in the traditional French method (methode champenoise) and are referred to as Methode Cap Classiques or MCC's.

- Middelvlei: Middelvlei Estate, known for its hospitality and special farm atmosphere, offers a personal, unforgettable and authentic Stellenbosch Winelands experience. Here you will enjoy a wine tasting, barrel tasting and traditional, South African lunch known as a gourmet "Braai"

It's surrounded by the vineyards of the Cape Winelands and the mountainous nature reserves of Jonkershoek and Simonsberg. The town's oak-shaded streets are lined with cafes, boutiques and art galleries. Cape Dutch architecture gives a sense of South Africa's Dutch colonial history, as do the Village Museum's period houses and gardens
