Completed in just five years with the efforts of 11,000 artisans and thousands of volunteers, it was inaugurated on 6 November 2005. Recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s largest comprehensive Hindu temple, Akshardham beautifully preserves India’s traditions, heritage, and timeless values.
  • Gurudwara Bangla Sahib: Visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib
Explore Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh places of worship in Delhi. • Lotus Temple: Visit to Lotus Temple
Proceed to the Lotus Temple (Bahá'í House of Worship, closed on Mondays). This architectural marvel features a simple yet striking central hall, 34.27 metres high, ideal for meditation. Quotes from Bahá'í sacred writings are inscribed on its petal alcoves. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens, the temple is especially captivating when sunlight reflects off its white petals. Visitors are required to remove shoes and maintain silence inside.
