After a busy day at Cappadocia, you can blow off some steam by visiting the Turkish traditional hammam & SPA. In Ottoman Turkish baths,as in Roman baths,when you go to the bath,you not only bathe but also have fun.The origins of the Turkish Bath,as a link in an uninterrupted development chain;date back to Byzantine and Roman Baths,and even older,to the Bronze Age civilizations of Anatolia.People began to visit the baths in ancient times,but during the Ottoman Empire, this activity became a kind of ritual in which the body and the soul were cleansed.The premises are built in the traditional oriental style-it is spacious and bright with a vaulted ceiling. The interior decoration is only marble. The air temperature should be at most 55C and the humidity 100%.If you have not purchased a private service,men and women will be in separate complexes. Being naked is forbidden to everyone, so towels or sheets are always provided at the entrance.
