The land that is now Turkey was the location for many of the people and events in biblical history. Turkey is mentioned extensively in the Bible, especially in the book of Acts when it was known as Asia Minor, and by the names of its provinces such as Pamphylia, Derbe, Lystra, and Phrygia.
