Itinerary

  • Güvercinada is an island located in the Kusadasi district, the island is connected to the mainland by a man-made causeway. The island, which is a symbol for Kusadasi, has a castle built by the Genoese. In 2020, UNESCO included the castle in the World Heritage Tentative List within the scope of the file "Castles and Walled Settlements on the Genoese Trade Route from the Mediterranean to the Black Sea".
  • Okuz Mehmet Pasa KervansarayI: It is near Kuşadası Pier. It was built by Grand Vizier Okuz Mehmet Pasha in 1618. The caravanserai, which looks like a small inner castle, has a triangular tip and a pointed dome at the top. Today, it is used as a hotel and tourist facility.
  • Kaleici Camii: It was built in 1617 by Grand Vizier Konevi Mehmet Pasha, also known as Öküz Mehmet Pasha.
  • Kusadasi: Then your guide will take you to places called old Kusadasi. Here you will see the architecture of old Kusadasi houses. These old buildings, which have been converted into cafes, restaurants, bars and stores today, are among the places where local and foreign tourists spend most of their time on summer evenings.
  • Hammam Kusadasi: Traditional Turkish Bath. At the entrance to the bath, you will be given tokens and directions.

After undressing in the dressing room area, you will wrap your body in a peştamal, a traditional cotton body wrap. After locking all your belongings in the locker provided (remembering to keep the key with you at all times), you will pass into the hot area that includes the heated marble platform in the center. This area called sıcaklık(caldarium), consists of a large, hot marble platform which is surrounded by bathing basins (kurna) and private bathing cubicles (halvet).
