- Luxor Temple: It is the most remarkable monument of the city of Luxor. It is mainly due to the work of 2 pharaohs, great builders, Amenhotep III and Ramses II. The first built the interior and Ramses II the exterior. However, the temple had such importance that many other pharaohs contributed to the enlargement
- Temple of Karnak: Built by multiple pharaohs between the years 2200 and 360 BC , the Temple of Karnak contains inside the great temple of Amun, other minor temples, chapels and the great sacred lake. The most important pharaohs that took part in its construction were Hatshepsut, Seti I, Ramses II and Ramses III .

Details
Visit the East Bank of Luxor where you can see the Karnak and Luxor temples. The Karnak temple is an open air museum and is considered the second tourist attraction after the great pyramids of Giza. The temple consists of a main area the precinct of Amun Re and other fewer temples and sanctuaries located outside the enclosing walls. The Luxor Temple was the focal point for rituals and festivals. The temple has great pylon with carved episodes from the battle of kadesh when Ramses defeated the Hethisi.
