This impressive collection is not to be missed during your visit. - Mummification Museum: Next on your tour, you will visit the Luxor Mummification Museum, which opened to the public in 1997. This charming museum showcases an impressive collection of human and animal mummies, along with the tools used in the mummification process. You will gain insight into the ancient Egyptian practice of mummification, which was believed to be a vital part of achieving eternal life. The museum also features examples of the various objects typically buried alongside the deceased.
- Luxor Market: Later, you will have the chance to explore the Luxor City Tourist Souq and indulge in some shopping at the vibrant Luxor market. Take some time to barter with the friendly local vendors and pick up some delightful handmade souvenirs to take back home. Once you've finished exploring the market, our driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Luxor.
