The piazza is presently well known for Gian Lorenzo Bernini's Fountain of the Four Rivers - Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi: it was structured in 1651for Pope Innocent X and the excellent old church of St. Agnes. As you stroll down the restricted cobbled lanes there is something intriguing to see around each corner.
