- Saint Catherine: Climb up Mount Sinai, sunrise and visit St. Catherine Monastery
Pick up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh around 9 pm and drive on Desert high way for about 2:30 hours to Mount Sinai & St. Catherine Monastery located about 220 Km away from Sharm El Sheikh. Arriving around midnight, then get ready to climb up Sinai Mount around (3 h) Overnight to reach the summit before the sunrise and catch the amazing sunrise from the top of the mountain. Climb down Mount Sinai and then visit St. Catherine Monastery located at the foot of the mountain Built between 527 and 565 AD, and it is believed to be built around Moses' Burning Bush. The Monastery is dedicated to St Catherine who was tortured and martyred for her Christian beliefs.
