- The Zhinvali Hydroelectric Power Plant ,the building of the dam in 1986 formed the Zhinvali Reservoir
- Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble: Ananuri - 16 -17th cc fortress and church, which used to be the residence of the Eristavis (dukes) of Aragvi. The complex comprises fortification, 3 churches and other cult and civic buildings, overlooks Jinvali manmade reservoir and controls the area.
- Pasanauri: In Pasanauri, high in the Caucasus along the Georgian Military Road, you’ll witness the spectacular confluence of the White Aragvi (Tetri Aragvi) and Black Aragvi (Shavi Aragvi) rivers. At this stunning viewpoint, a pale, silty river and a dark, mineral-rich stream converge yet flow side‑by‑side without immediately mixing, thanks to their different sediment content, densities, and flow temperatures.
- Russian Georgian Friendship Monument: Historic Russian-Georgian friendship monument with amazing views of Caucasian mountains.
- Gergeti Trinity Church: Gergeti Holy Trinity Church – the most important altar of 14th century, located on the slope of Mount Kazbegi.
