Itinerary
- Assureti is an old Georgian village that was deserted in the 18th century due to enemy invasions. Tsarist Russia settled German colonists in the 1920s and created a German colony called Elizabeth. The village is characterized by German architecture. An old German church, built in 1871, has survived.
