This remarkable fortress, with walls extending up to 1,400 meters and an area of 10 hectares, showcases the evolution of various historical periods, from its origins as a proto-urban settlement in the 7th-5th century BC to its significant transformations through Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman eras until the reign of Ali Pasha Tepelena.
