- The Monastery of Geghard: Geghard Monastery was not only a spiritual, but also an educational and cultural centre. Many manuscripts now kept in Matenadaran of Yerevan, as well as in the National Library of Paris and the Royal Library of Berlin were compiled, illustrated, written and copied in Geghard.
The Monastery is situated in an exceptionally picturesque area with rocky mountains, thick forests, mountain meadows and springs. Landscape, air, sounds․․․ everything here is unique and in harmony with the magnificent rock monastery. - Symphony Of Stones or Basaltic Organ is a natural wonder in the Garni Gorge. Tour to Garni temple and Geghard monastery is one of the most famous it is a combination of history, culture and architecture. During the tour one can visit the only pagon temple of Armenia Geghard Monastery (Ayrivank), where according to the legend, from the XIII century the spear with which Christ was pierced was kept here. As a part of the tour, we will visit the Azat River gorge, where we will see the “Symphony of Stones՛”, a miracle of nature.
